Associate Director of Medical Affairs located in Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 (Hybrid).
Job Description:
- The Associate Director will provide program and financial management support across all the Medical Affairs functions that are working on a launch, approved products or earlier assets to assure consistent planning, execution, tracking and reporting of activities in accordance with Medical Affairs strategy and objectives. This includes assuring appropriate planning, execution, tracking and reporting activities with cross-functional partners and if applicable, Alliance counterparts.
- Partners with US Medical Affairs Oncology and stakeholders in CLIENT to support the execution of product specific tactics supporting Medical Strategy and Objectives
- Collaborates with all Medical Affairs functional owners to define and maintain a detailed project plan in alignment with overall Medical Strategy and Objectives
- Manages budgets and vendor/agency activities as needed and provides regular reporting on budget and financial metrics
- Provides monthly and quarterly reconciliation of Medical Affairs spend for specific products supported.
- Closely monitors and provides regular reports on the progress of Medical Affairs activities.
- Defines meeting agendas, facilitates meetings, and issues meeting minutes, Defines meeting cadence, decision making procedures and communication, When applicable, works with an Alliance counterpart to assure effective collaboration across both organizations
- When applicable, collaborate with alliance partners on coordinating and running cross company meetings, When applicable, collaborate with alliance partners to provide unified asset budgets and spend forecasts/reports
- Contribute to Integrated Medical Affairs Plans (iMAP)
- Builds slide decks, dashboards, and Medical Affairs project communications
- Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs./week. Candidate must be able to go onsite 1-2 days a week.
- Pay Rate: $70 - 90/Hour (Biweekly, W2)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree Required, Master Degree Preferred
- 4 Years of project management experience in the areas of Medical Affairs or Clinical Development and experience with budget tracking required
- 7 Years of pharmaceutical or related industry experience with a working knowledge of the medical, scientific, and commercial oncology marketplace preferred
- Experience in the Therapeutic Area of Oncology, Highly Preferred
- Experience working with Japanese based companies or global companies with presence in Japan and US preferred
- 12-Month Contract to Start, conversion/extension on performance
