My name is Shannon, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Instructional Designer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Abbott Park, IL. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Duration: 3 months to start, can extend!
Location: Mostly Remote but local to Abbott Park, IL
Pay: $33-36/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop virtual instructor-led (VILT) and instructor-led training (ILT) content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather accurate and relevant information.
- Create clear, concise, and engaging training materials, including facilitator guides, participant guides, classroom activities, and presentations.
- Apply instructional design principles and methodologies to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure training outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with training standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Content Development, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or content writing.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as iSpring, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience conducting needs assessments and designing performance improvement interventions.
- Familiarity with benchmarking and training evaluation methodologies.
- Ability to adapt new training approaches to meet organizational and regulatory challenges.
