Duration:3 months
Job Description: We're seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our Learning Experience Design team on a 3-month contract. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and developing engaging, effective learning solutions that align with business goals and enhance the learner experience. You'll also serve as a facilitator for live virtual New Hire Orientation sessions over Zoom, so strong presentation and communication skills are essential. Develop instructional materials and products and assist in the technology-based redesign of courses. Assist faculty in learning about, becoming proficient in, and applying instructional technology. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement eLearning courses and blended learning programs using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise). Facilitate engaging, interactive New Hire Orientation sessions via Zoom on a regular basis. Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content, define learning objectives, and determine instructional strategies. Upload and manage learning content in the Cornerstone LMS, ensuring accessibility, tracking, and reporting functionality. Apply principles of adult learning theory, instructional design, and UX/UI best practices to learning materials. Revise and iterate on content based on feedback and data insights. Ensure all learning materials are consistent with brand guidelines and quality standards. Requirements: Proven experience as an instructional designer or similar role. Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise). Hands-on experience with Cornerstone LMS. Experience facilitating live training sessions or presentations in a virtual environment. Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM). Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Background in corporate training, adult education, or learning & development. Experience designing for both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards.
