Currently I have an opening for a Laboratory Technician located in Social Circle, GA. Details for the position are as follows :
Job Description :
- Preparation of material for sterilization in the QC Laboratory Autoclave.
- Position may be allocated in QC Analytical, Microbiology, Compliance, QCMIS, and / or Laboratory Operations with general job requirements
- Wet / dry chemistry or biochemistry test methods, compendial raw material testing, maintenance of associated assay equipment, and reconciliation of test results.
- Environment monitoring, critical utility sampling, endotoxin testing, bioburden for raw materials and in process, process samples, microbial identification, and final product sterility testing.
- Manage and investigation of nonconformance events (OOL, OOS, etc.). Develop and deploy the site Contamination Control Master Plan (CCMP).
- Operation of equipment preparation and cleaning systems in QC (e.g., QC Laboratory Autoclaves, QC glasswashers).
- Maintenance and stocking of departmental consumable inventory.
- Routine verification of operating parameters, Routine cleaning, and maintenance of temperature-controlled units.
- Set-up and disinfection of media, supplies, and equipment needed for testing.
- Perform sampling of critical utilities systems (e.g., water, air, alcohol).
- Perform non-batch release testing (e.g., raw materials, environmental monitoring).
- Assist in filling and archiving of departmental data, binders, reports, investigations, etc.
- Assist in retrieval of samples from manufacturing areas to the QC Laboratory for testing.
- Maintenance and disposal of waste generated throughout the laboratory.
- Retrieves and receives all samples into the QC Labs and receives samples into LIMS, EBM, and / or JDE.
