We are seeking a skilled Forensic Toxicology Specialist for our client. This position is based in a prominent laboratory. Details for the role are as follows:
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and extraction of samples for GC/MS confirmation in the forensic toxicology laboratory.
Responsibilities:
- Pay: $18/hr
- Shift: Tuesday- Saturday 10pm-6:30am
- Preparing and extracting samples for GC/MS confirmation
- Safely operating, monitoring and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
- Preparing, testing and evaluating new reagents, controls and calibrators
- Performing and documenting preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Sound technical decision-making regarding testing and problem solving
- Storage of and replenishment of supplies as needed
- Ensuring the confidentiality of donor information
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques
