Scientist Cellular Genomics

Currently seeking a Cellular Genomics Scientist in Cambridge, MA. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $40-52/hr.
• 6-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Collect and prepare murine and human tissue samples, including isolation of primary immune cells and standard mammalian cell culture.
• Assist with tissue processing, including fixation, dissociation, sectioning, and antibody staining.
• Generate and process spatial and single-cell genomics data using commercial workflows such as 10x Genomics and Parse Technologies.
• Perform immunoprofiling activities, including flow cytometry, and interpret quality control metrics for experiments.
• Collaborate with in vivo scientists to retrieve samples and ensure smooth execution of lab procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant hands-on experience OR PhD with relevant academic experience.
• Experience with standard immunoprofiling techniques is Required.
• Experience with primary immune cells is Required.
• Experience with CRISPR mediated functional genomics, including electroporation of primary immune cells is Preferred.
