Personal Care Aide (Full Time)
The Fountains/Gardens at Indiana, PA
Shift: Evenings (3pm-10pm)
Overview:
The Gardens at Indiana is hiring a caregiver to join our team in providing care to residents at our care facilities (either in our personal care or memory care facility).
Responsibilities:
- Working with residents, learning their stories, and spending time making sure they feel cared throughout the day/or night.
- Providing immobile, recovering, or frail residents with support, company, and comfort.
- Dispensing medications, administering treatments, and assisting with exercise routines as prescribed.
- Reporting changes in the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients to relevant parties.
- Providing support with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Engaging residents in suitable activities, such as playing games, taking walks, or having conversations.
- Providing mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Light housekeeping and tiding up.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience with personal care
- Diabetes certification
- Medication administration certification
- First Aid CPR Training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
