What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary 3 position at the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities?
Performs complex variety of secretarial and clerical duties to provide administrative support for Principal and administration of West Central. Creates, maintains and manages reports, confidential records, files and databases (e.g. student files; classroom rosters; IEP/ETR Due Lists). Maintain required reports to ODE and FCBDD. Maintain the Student Meal Program. Send IEP meeting invites. Organize and track all enrollment paperwork. Track daily student attendance and send monthly attendance to districts.
Organize “Student of the Month” certificates.
Track student transportation/change of student address in collaboration with the operation specialist. Maintain and update all school/staff calendars. Organize weekly parent communications (e.g. eblast). Communicate with local districts regarding outreach activities.
Maintains public relations with community; secures and communicates information to employees, persons served and their parents/guardians/families and other interested parties.
Answer phones, direct calls, take messages, respond to radio calls. Greet visitors and monitor main entrance. Type documents, using word and spreadsheet software. Performs other related duties as assigned.
This is a 12 month position.
