Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm, and Fridays 7:30am-2pm (In-Office)

For over 40 years, The FRICKS Company has specialized in the design, construction and finishing of the most durable concrete floor surfaces in the world - extending the life of the floor surface by up to 10 times that of conventional concrete. Our projects range nationwide from distribution, food processing and cold storage facilities.
Purpose:
This position is responsible for Fleet and Equipment oversight. This includes coordinating all maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, maintenance, warranties, bid analysis, reviewing and auditing equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains an ongoing preventive/corrective fleet maintenance program which sets the standard for service excellence.
- Oversees repairs, parts, warranties, recalls, and schedules maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Responsible for implementation/monitoring of all fleet maintenance activities (e.g. Pre/Post pre trip, warranties, tire standards, oil/lubricants, major component failures, and all new initiatives)
- Analyze service issues related to fleet maintenance and perform root cause analysis, recommends remediation methods and escalates issues as needed.
- Quality management in planning equipment mobilization to reduce downtime and proactive counter measures to maximize operations.
- Provide hands-on maintenance assistance as needed.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Job Support:
- Optimizing cost and efficiency in loading/unloading equipment
- Coordinate movement of equipment between jobs and home office ensuring proper inspections and optimization is being met
- Continuous field communication
- Leadership, training, development, and oversight of proper procedures are implemented and followed.
- Provide support to Field Managers for equipment repairs, back-up, and replacement equipment outside of normal business hours.
- Complying with DOT and OSHA requirements
Required Skills and/Abilities:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing priorities
- Able to interface and communicate with all levels of employees and management
- Highly autonomous, self-directed, organized and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
- Automotive claims and maintenance experience
- Valid Driver License
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of Fleet Management experience preferred.
- 5 years of supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and working on a computer
- Able to lift 15 pounds at a time
