Position Summary
The Enterprise Sales role focuses on driving the company’s growth by identifying and engaging enterprise-level clients, fostering long-term relationships, and executing strategic sales plans to acquire new accounts and expand market share. The position involves acting as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions to meet client needs, and presenting customized proposals, pricing models, and value propositions. Additionally, the Enterprise Sales role includes negotiating and closing contracts to ensure profitability and alignment with company goals.
Staying informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs is essential, as Enterprise Sales contributes valuable feedback to enhance company offerings and service quality. The role also requires partnering with marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, target, and engage enterprise-level clients on the East Coast.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new accounts and increase market share.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ specific needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Present customized proposals, pricing models, and value propositions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring profitability and alignment with company goals.
Market Insights
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and operations teams to improve offerings and service quality.
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and the account management team, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Performance Metrics:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs.
- The FruitGuys has set a number of outreach goals and in person prospect visits per month.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in food service or a related service industry.
- Proven success in enterprise or consultative sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong ability to understand and address complex client needs with tailored solutions.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Netsuite, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Apollo.io.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the produce supply chain, food safety standards, and industry trends is a plus.
- High degree of familiarity with all Google software programs

Educational/Experience Requirements: Five years plus of sales or customer facing experience is required for this position. Google Suite, data entry, basic spreadsheet, and Netsuite/ERP experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be visiting prospects while carrying up to 25 lb boxes. Rare exposure to cold temperatures in a warehouse environment. Use of office machinery includes computers, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
Skill Requirements: Ability to clearly communicate in a professional and proactive manner via telephone and email is required. Collaborative problem solving, attentiveness to customer needs, relationship building, and exceptional time management skills are also required. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills preferred.
Language Requirements: English language and professional communication skills are required.
License Requirements: Drivers License preferred.
Travel Requirements: Occasional visits to local clients @ 5 Days per month.
