Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role involves coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and adhering to state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient status and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care, hospital, or related setting
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing facilities
- Geriatric experience preferred but not required
