Job Responsibilities for a Member Services Attendant:
- Serves as the first point of contact to personally greet all customers and valet park vehicles.
- Provides an array of services to Members (e.g. unloading vehicles, delivering packages and mail, transportation, dog walking, washing cars)
- Provides a safe and secure environment as a First Responder in all areas of The Garlands’ community.
- Serves as liaison between The Garlands and emergency personnel, including the fire department, paramedics and 911.
- Responds to medical emergencies by taking appropriate and immediate action to assist the individual(s) in distress.
- Completes building security rounds.
- Assists the Maintenance department with the snow removal, when necessary.
- Certified in using the AED & performing CPR. (required training provided)
*Some weekends and holidays may be required
Qualifications
- Proven strong customer service skills
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience and understanding
- A current driver’s license in good standing
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Capable of learning a variety of safety, security and emergency preparedness measures and be able to respond calmly and professionally to all situations
- Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Experience working in or with Police or Fire Department may be helpful, but not required
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and stand continuously
