Job Summary
Assist Convention Service Manager and Sales Managers in all task including banquet event orders, site tours, group billing, event diagramming, attending BEO meetings, 10 day and 90 day forecast reports and any other task assigned by the CSM or DOSM.

Physical Abilities
w Standing/Walking: Constantly. Assisting in conducting site tours of the property meeting space, guestrooms, and obtaining information, relaying information. Walking up to 3 miles daily.
w Crouching: Occasionally, lifting luggage, boxes, sales material, returning files to lower file drawers.
w Twisting: Frequently. Driving, personal/phone conversations.
w Handling: Frequently. Phone, papers, files, pen, pencils, keyboard, passing out data
w Grasping: Occasionally, steering wheel, opening doors, handshakes
w Talking/Hearing in person: Constantly: guests, associates, and community.
w Near vision: Frequently. Corrected to 20/40, personal contact, paperwork, and computer monitors
Working Environment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
w Assisting CSM and Sales Managers with BEO’s
w Assisting CSM and Sales Managers with event Diagramming
w Responsible for entering actuals, inquiries, and guarantee’s into the Thynk Sales System
w Assisting with new menu entry into the Thuynk Sales System and related task with the “Thunk” sales and catering system.
w Printing all sales bills for Convention Services, comparing against banquet checks, reviewing for accuracy and sending to CSM for final review
w Assisting CSM/in executing 1-day small meetings and inhouse events
w Conducting tours for walk in guest and assisting CSM with tours as needed
w Assist with Group resumes for the CSM obtaining all information and correctly reporting into the group resume for distribution
w Assisting with trade show planning and preparation as needed
w Answering phone calls and taking lead information for catering events
w Answering questions and concerns, follow through to either resolution or refer to the appropriate manager
w Obtaining guarantee’s for all groups and delivering to the kitchen and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

w Prior Administrative, Sales, Hospitality, Or Comparable Experience Required

w The ability to act independently with minimal supervision
w Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written to be able to connect with our guest and team members.
w Neat, professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
w Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
