What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/ Telephone Operator position at The Georgia Institute For Plastic Surgery?
Creates warm, welcoming environment for patients and visitors
Answers phones and directs callers to appropriate person.
Verify appointments.
Check-In & Check-Out patients.
Collect co-pays and payment for products & services.
Reviews and verifies accuracy of patient information & insurance details on file.
Prepares charts as needed.
Mail out inquiry packets, new patient paperwork & office correspondence as needed.
Acts as a liaison between physician, nurses and patients.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Performs related work as required.

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
