BASIC FUNCTION
The Investment Professional manages assigned client relationships and directs the investments for related personal trusts, agencies, estates, charitable and IRA accounts. The primary investment objectives are structuring client investment portfolios to meet mutually agreed-upon expectations for asset allocation, risk, and investment performance while adhering to all appropriate controls. The Investment Professional cultivates relationships within the community, including centers of influence and charitable organizations, to promote the Company and develop business. This position is a member of the Company’s Investment Committee and participates in overseeing the Company’s operations as it relates to investments and cash management.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage client relationships in coordination with client service teams, including serving in some instances as the primary relationship manager.
- Initiate and coordinate the primary investing decisions in fulfilling client investment objectives.
- Nurture client relationships through ongoing contact to strengthen the relationship.
- Coordinate efforts with other in-house and out-sourced financial professionals to minimize risk and maximize returns on investments.
- Coordinate client financial objectives and outline investment parameters and benchmarks.
- Initiate, purchase, and sell securities and other investment vehicles in line with investment strategy for each client; provide the Operations Department with information necessary to update or set up accounts in the system.
- Monitor account activity in conjunction with the Operations Department to ensure all investments are appropriately executed and posted.
- Monitor cash balances to ensure proper coverage of expenditures, while maximizing investment opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing awareness of market trends, investment strategies, investment opportunities and other factors relevant to the performance of investments.
- Create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction with centers of influence to obtain new business; attend community functions and assist charitable organizations, at board level when feasible, to promote the Company.
- Participate in Investment Committee (TIC) meetings, financial meetings, and Strategic Planning Committee meetings.
- Attend professional development initiatives as appropriate.
- Attend Company and industry-related meetings, as required.
- Perform other duties, including special projects, as assigned by executive leadership.

- Operate independently with a high level of direct responsibility, while maintaining strong ties to the investment and administrative teams at the firm.
working environment and conditions
- This position involves working within an indoor office environment around general office equipment, including computers and workstations.
- This position may require working non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends to attend social functions to promote the Company and develop relationships within the community.
EDUCATION, Experience and TRAINING
- 4-year degree in a related field.
- CFA or CFP certification preferred
- 3-10 years minimum of investment and wealth management experience.
