What You’ll Do :
Manage and lead the dining room staff, including servers, food runners, and bussers, during your scheduled shift
Ensure all staff members understand their duties and service standards, providing training and guidance as needed
Monitor and assign staff sections, ensuring proper coverage and efficient operations
Greet and seat guests warmly, maintaining professional poise and a customer-centric approach
Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, taking appropriate action to resolve issues
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining room
Maintain open communication with the management team and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Enforce food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and uniform / grooming standards
Contribute to the ongoing training and development of dining room staff
Qualifications :
3 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
In-depth knowledge of dining room operations, service standards, and food and beverage offerings
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and re staurant technology
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and perform some light lifting
