Position : Kitchen Manager
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our meal plan, ensuring compliance with state regulations and Goddard standards, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious and balanced meals (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks) for children.
Ensure all meals meet state nutritional requirements and adhere to Goddard's meal plan guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and ingredients, and minimizing waste.
Develop and update menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and children's preferences.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and special needs of children.
Maintain accurate records of food purchases, inventory, and meal production.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
Knowledge of state nutritional requirements and food safety regulations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ServSafe certification
Passion for providing healthy and nutritious meals to children.
