Part-Time Preschool Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to support our educational team in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children. This role is crucial in helping to foster a positive atmosphere for learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support students with their academic needs, including literacy and math skills.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Provide care and supervision for students during classroom activities and breaks.
• Engage with students in a positive manner to encourage participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Assist with the organization of classroom materials and resources.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support student engagement.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

• Monday to Friday
