Your Role as an Older Two's Lead Teacher
As the Older Two's Lead Teacher, you’ll be the heart of the classroom, creating a warm, engaging space where our older two-year-olds can thrive. Using our exclusive Wonders of Learning Curriculum, you’ll craft play-based lesson plans that ignite imaginations and build foundational skills. You’ll:
- Design hands-on activities that nurture curiosity, independence, and growth across all developmental domains—social, emotional, physical, and intellectual.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with your students and their families, becoming a key part of their early learning journey.
- Lead with positivity, using gentle guidance to foster a respectful and supportive classroom culture.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers, mentoring them to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every child.
- Education: A BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; an AA or ongoing ECE studies will be considered. Bonus points for a CDA certification!
- Experience: Previous preschool or childcare experience is a big plus—especially if you’ve worked with energetic two-year-olds!
- Qualities: A genuine love for teaching young children, a playful spirit, and a commitment to professionalism. You’re patient, creative, and ready to make every day an adventure.
