Assistant Manager – The Gold Leash Pet Hotel & Daycare
Job Type: Full-time
The Gold Leash is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our pet hotel and daycare facility. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our facility, providing outstanding care for our furry guests while also supporting our staff in their development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support day-to-day operations, including managing staff, facility cleanliness, and guest care.
- Assist in training and developing staff, ensuring high standards of service are met.
- Help manage inventory, equipment, and supplies, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in working order.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, providing exceptional service to pet parents.
- Support management in scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Monitor pet health and well-being, ensuring that all pets are cared for safely and comfortably.
- Assist in maintaining company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a pet care or customer service environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for working with animals and providing top-quality care.
- Ability to handle pet behavior and demonstrate leadership in group play settings.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with kennel management software (e.g., Gingr) is a plus.
