Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our nonprofit, faith-based team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient office operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing and copying documents
- Assist in managing office and program supplies and inventory
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate staff
- Support with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Conduct basic bookkeeping tasks, check writing, staff reimbursements. Work cooperately with Board Treasurer.
- Oversee fundraising activities led by middle and highschool club - The Young Samaritans
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Coordinate volunteer schedules
- Assist with volunteer database, recognition and recruitment
- Assist with social media posts
- Assist with fundraisers and special events
Requirements
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Confidentiality is a must
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Salary : $15 - $18
