What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preprimary Assistant Teacher position at The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori School?
Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori is seeking a full-time assistant teacher for our Preprimary environment (ages 3-6). The ideal candidate will possess a deep respect for the preschool age child and a willingness to work as a team with two other lead teachers and two other assistants. Assistant duties include recess/lunch duty, monitoring student work, assisting individual students, helping to maintain the environment, and supporting the lead classroom teacher. Applicants must be SafeParish trained and pass a background check in accordance with Archdiocesan regulations. An educational aide or equivalent licensure is required. Candidate must also be CPR/First Aid certified or be willing to take the certifications.
