Job Type: Full-Time (Weekend Only)
Work Schedule:
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate medical provider to deliver high-quality care in our Weekend Expanded Access Clinic. This walk-in clinic is designed to provide patients with accessible care outside of standard clinic hours. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills, and possess a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct medical care to walk-in patients of all ages, managing acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other non-life-threatening conditions.
- Customer Service: Maintain a patient-centered approach, providing professional and courteous service to all patients and caregivers.
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Perform thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and make appropriate diagnoses.
- Treatment Plans: Develop and implement patient-centered care plans, including prescribing medications, recommending follow-up care, or referring patients to specialists when necessary.
- Procedures: Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, incision and drainage, and other common outpatient interventions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Patient Education: Provide education to patients and families regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and preventative care measures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinic staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel, to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited PA program with certification from NCCPA.

Licensure and Certification:
- Current state medical license in Oklahoma.
- DEA license.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain before starting).

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.

Skills:
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, high-volume walk-in clinic setting.
- Must be comfortable working independently with access to supervising physicians as needed.
- May require standing or walking for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive benefits and weekend differential pay (commensurate with experience).
- Paid time off (PTO): 189 hours annually (prorated)
- Federal malpractice insurance coverage.
- CME allowance and 30 hours CME leave.
