Accounts Receivable Coordinator Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable system for all programs licensed under the Home Care and Assisted Living with and without dementia licensures
- Prepare and mail all private pay statements
- Electronically bill Medicare, Medical Assistance, and other third parties
- Maintain accurate resident accounts receivable records including but not limited to: customer data sheets, checklists completed by the nursing department, authorizations from the county or insurance companies and census spreadsheets
- Apply deposits to appropriate resident/client accounts at the standard set by the Business Office Manager
- Provide Business Office Manager with monthly reports for each division for proper monthly financial statements
- Obtain pre-authorizations for Home Care clients as needed
- Drive deposits to the bank as needed

Qualifications
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Qualifications
- Post-secondary accounting or business-related education and/or equivalent related experience preferred
- Experience in Medical Assistance, Medicare, insurance and private pay billing preferred
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to switch from one task to the next with ease
- Computer experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Point Click Care, rTasks or Sansio preferred
- Knowledge of UB04 and/or 1500 billing requirements preferred
- Must have a current, valid Drivers License with no driving violations within the standards of Good Shepherd’s insurability programs
- Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals in a fast-paced work environment
