About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of production scheduling processes and preferably experience in contract manufacturing environments.
This role will assist in coordinating production schedules and working with project managers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
What you"ll do
Production Planning : Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on client demand. Support the Senior Planner in optimizing production workflows.
Data Analysis : Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements. Prepare reports for management review.
Experience with data visualization tools could be an asset.
Working with Project Managers : Collaborate closely with project managers to align production goals with project timelines and requirements.
Ensure effective communication regarding project status and resource needs.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of production activities and planning processes. Assist in the preparation of planning reports and presentations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on production goals and client requirements.
Continuous Improvement : Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Google Sheets and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Batchmaster, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
