Our fashion client is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team! This individual has the potential for an Assistant in the future as well!
This individual must have Costing and Outerwear/Swimwear experience.
Responsibilities
- Set and articulate timeline expectations for timely delivery according to development calendar
- Work with cross-functional teams in troubleshooting, including identifying and resolving any quality and technical issues; drive efforts in special garment development and enhancements and modifications to designs and materials, including line and discount/derivative products, to maintain aesthetic and achieve financial goals
- Drive and perform competitive research; continuously evaluate marketplace to identify and review applicability for key trends in manufacturing, fabrications and construction; identify significant innovations and share any significant innovations with partners in Sales and Design regularly on regular basis; oversee maintenance of archive of materials, hardware, etc. for production
- Manage capacity planning and performance management by sourcing office, region, country and vendor; define and oversee accurate costing models; partners with Sales and Design to project production needs, make commitments to raw materials, where appropriate; allocate production across vendors and reserve production space
- Work with the Sales, Merchandising and Operations teams, as well as factories to ensure adequate flow of goods relative to orders and anticipated demand criteria
- Create and maintain all reporting for all production operations
This individual must have costing and swimwear experience.
3-5 years of apparel experience.
