Pricing Master Data Management
- Manage day-to-day updates and accuracy of pricing master data in the ERP system to ensure consistency across all pricing-related transactions.
- Maintain and update pricing structures, customer-specific pricing, and rebate information within the system.
- Oversee pricing management for customer transactions and orders, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon pricing and terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EDI, Customer Service, Operations, Sales) to resolve pricing errors and create efficient workflows when issues arise.
- Partner with the Strategic Revenue Management team to implement price increases.
- Manage National Accounts price list and ensure compliance through master data management.
- Execute line-level promotions within the Pricing Administration in the ERP system, ensuring promotions are appropriately approved and executed.
- Proactively communicate approved promotions, programs, and deductions to the Finance team and relevant departments.
- Handle day-to-day deduction management by liaising between Sales, Finance, and Accounting on deductions and discounts and ensuring clear communication and resolution of discrepancies.
- Optimize deduction workflow as needed, identifying and addressing cross-department hand-offs and issue areas to drive efficiency.
- Manage access permissions for the Deduction Tool and work with IT partners to address technical issues with the tool when they arise.
- In coordination with the National Accounts team, collect and retain customer agreements, including rebates/allowances, buying agreements, etc.
- Manage the execution and analysis of customer-specific contract pricing and rebates, ensuring they align with negotiated agreements.
- Review and validate customer set-ups and assign relevant planning channel & sales rep assignments.
- Lead cross-functional projects related to pricing enhancements, collaborating with teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support IT & Sr Analyst of Trade Execution in pricing system enhancements and improvements to ensure the system aligns with evolving pricing strategies and business needs.
- Maintain accountability to approval thresholds and standard operation procedures as applicable to the management of pricing and deductions.
- Perform other duties, supporting ad-hoc pricing initiatives and strategic pricing analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience.
- Analysis, sales support, or pricing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
- Ability to analyze and interpret pricing data and develop actionable insights
- Ability to work independently & learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead projects and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
