What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at The Graham Georgetown Hotel?
This is for a host/hostess position at the Graham Rooftop. The host/hostess is expected to assist running food and wiping down tables when you can. We do not take reservations upstairs, except for hotel guests at the moment. Mainly you are communicating with the security down in lobby(via radio), letting them know how many tables we have available and controlling the flow of rooftop guests. We do not allow standing room, everyone has a table or a seat so it doesn't get too packed. The kitchen is right next to the host stand so you do not have to go far when food is ready. We are looking for someone that is proactive and has some restaurant experience. If you are full time (30 hours a week) we offer health insurance, dental, and vision. This is a tipped position based on percentage of rooftop sales (total sales not just food). We are not open during the day but we might be in the future. For the moment our rooftop hours are Sunday-Wednesday 4pm-10pm and Thursday-Saturday 4pm-12am.
