What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Administrator (part time) position at The Grand America Hotel?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the F&B department, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for order placements, invoices, and payments.
- Prepare reports related to inventory, sales, and expenses.
- Support communication between the kitchen, service staff, and management.
- Handle email correspondence, phone calls, and other inquiries related to F&B operations.
- Assist in event planning and execution within the F&B department.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the F&B Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous FOH (server, host, bartender) experience in the F&B industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Opera.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Working Hours:
- Part-time role.
- Will require occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work based on business needs.
