What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at The Grand America Hotel?
- Come work with us in our beautiful Lobby Lounge. This is a full time, PM position. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance after 60 days, as well as floating holidays and sick pay. Vacation (40 hours) available after 90 days of employment. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly in English (read, speak, and write).
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following standard recipes to ensure established control systems are followed
- Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests
- Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time, complete closing duties
- Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Supervise and train employees in their respective duties
- Manage the bar’s liquor and supply inventory
- Develops purchases and supply orders, checks in recently purchased bar items, arranges inventory for special events and makes supplies readily available for team
Physical:
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, bend and squat repeatedly, and walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
