What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Employee position at The Grand Hotel?
We’re looking for a full time maintenance technician to join our team at our boutique hotel in Downtown McKinney! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly.
Our ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined to be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities to keep rooms in working condition.
* Daily Duties:
- Light-duty construction
- Light plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Parking lot maintenance
- Painting
- Landscaping
- Drywall
- Framing
- Window cleaning
- Pressure-washing
* Requirements:
- Over 2 years of maintenance experience
- Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent.
- Open availability.
- Good communication and customer service required.
- Basic technology skills, such as installing smart locks, doorbells, and thermostats.
- Work as a team member with operations and other technicians to support the facility in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Every weekend
- Morning shift
- Nights as needed
- Overtime
