Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the Director of Nursing and ensuring the highest standards of resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operational responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain exceptional quality of resident care.
- Foster effective communication among nursing staff.
- Help develop and implement individualized care plans and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of new staff.
- Maintain flexibility in your work schedule to address the unpredictable needs of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State RN license.
- Experience in Long-Term Care settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team supervision.
