About the Role:
As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents while supporting the Director of Nursing in leading a dedicated nursing team. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care and the overall success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and uphold exceptional standards of care across the nursing team.
- Support compliance with all regulations and foster effective communication at all levels of nursing staff.
- Address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring individualized, compassionate care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care plans.
- Stay current with general nursing practices, ensuring the team is well-informed.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records and documentation.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet the dynamic needs of the facility.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing on daily operations and responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
- Proven ability to train, lead, and manage clinical staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with supervisory experience.
