Job Overview:
The Grand Resort is seeking a dedicated and reliable Midnight Custodian to join our team. This position is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our luxurious resort facilities during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hardworking, and have an eye for detail to ensure our guests experience an impeccably clean environment throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, restrooms, and event spaces during overnight hours.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure a spotless environment.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, windows, and other areas as needed.
- Dispose of trash and ensure proper waste management.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and towels in public restrooms.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift as needed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
- Must be able to work the overnight shift, including weekends and holidays.
