Engineering Shop Mechanic
Essential Functions:
- Must have a good knowledge of mechanical equipment and how it operates.
- Must be able to troubleshoot potential problems with equipment.
- Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Must have some electrical knowledge.
- Must be able to develop and build objects from specs (drawing, sketch or verbal)
- Must have knowledge of fuel safety; job includes working with LP gas, diesel fuel, gasoline, etc.
- Must have general knowledge of hand power tools, drills, saws, etc. as necessary.
- Must be able to learn to operate shop equipment including brake press, laser, welder, etc. as necessary.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must make safety a priority.
- Must work well with others.
Full-time position, must be able to work more than 40 hours per week.
