What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at THE GRATEFUL BREAD?
Quirky cafe in Wedgewood seeking a new full-time barista. We offer counter service and serve organic bread, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. All of our products are baked in house and sourced as locally as possible.
Your duties include:
- Attending to customers
- Creating espresso beverages, sandwiches, salads, etc.
- Maintaining a clean, stocked, and inviting environment
-Taking multiple dish shifts per week on rotating schedule
-Occasionally helping baking staff
Barista or food service experience is a plus, not a must. Working weekends is required, shifts range from 6:30am - 10:15am start times, 8 hours per shift, includes 30min paid lunch. Tips average $5/hour. Approximately 32 - 40 hours a week. Flexible schedule. Medical and dental benefits for full time employees (32 hours ).
