Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Art Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a love for art, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and project quality
As an Art Framer, you will be responsible for finishing beautiful custom frame projects that meet our customers' expectations. This role requires both creativity and technical skills, as well as the ability to engage with customers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients in selecting framing options that best suit their artwork and preferences.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase framing techniques and materials.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions accurately.
- Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling additional products or services related to framing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
- Perform Picture Frame Fitting in a quality conscious and time-efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively over the phone, addressing customer inquiries and scheduling appointments as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable, particularly in a retail setting.
- Familiarity with product demonstrations and upselling techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements and cash handling.
- Experience with POS systems will be beneficial for managing sales transactions efficiently.
- A background in art, design, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
