Contracts & Procurement Manager – Renewable Energy

Join a team driving the future of clean energy. We are seeking a Contracts and Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, negotiations, and supply chain management for large-scale solar energy projects. This role is crucial to optimizing project costs, ensuring seamless procurement, and maintaining quality control across all aspects of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sourcing process from RFI to contract execution.
- Prepare RFPs, coordinate bid schedules, and evaluate vendor proposals.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, optimizing pricing, risk management, and quality standards.
- Identify and assess potential EPC and equipment suppliers for solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, substations, and more.
- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to drive cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and procurement standards.
- Implement quality control measures and resolve supplier issues proactively.
- Manage contract administration, change management, and dispute resolution.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field (Master’s or certifications a plus).
- 5 years of procurement, EPC contracting, or supply chain experience—preferably in renewable energy.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on sustainability and risk management.
- Knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems (Procore), and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while fostering transparency.
- Domestic travel as needed (less than 10%).
