What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Groundskeeper II position at The Greenbrier?
Position: Groundskeeper 2
Primary Responsibilities:
- Seasonal mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, etc.
- Tree and plant demo / installation
- Mulching
- Hand watering of large landscape beds, trees and sod areas
- Daily maintenance of annual flower beds
- Practicing safety daily with use of equipment and hand tools
Normal Working Hours:
- 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with exception of snow removal and special projects
- Saturday and Sunday work may vary
Work Experience:
- Prefer(not required) to have at least 2 years landscape experience
- Must be able to operate mowing equipment such as but not limited to mowers, weed eaters, edger’s, blowers, etc.
- Proven to have the will to take initiative and demonstrate landscape competency daily
Educational Requirements:
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Communication Skills:
- Thorough understanding of Forbes Five Star standards and service
- Self motivating daily which demonstrates the quality and efficiency expected by management
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $14.04 per hour
