About the Company:
Our client is a rapidly growing Series A SaaS startup that is disrupting their space. They are looking to bring on an Accounting guru that will work closely with the team on ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of the monthly close, working closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting that will help efficient decision-making at the management and operational level
- Play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, including accounting, A/R, A/P, cash management, expense management, payroll, and internal controls and record keeping
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Preparation of financial reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Assist in creating the formation of internal controls and policies
- Ensure accuracy of home closing transaction data across internal systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and external requirements
- Assist in audit, tax, and valuation engagements with third party firms
Requirements:
- 4-8 years experience (audit or tax) at CPA firm OR fast-paced high growth start-up
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA license or actively pursuing/studying for exams
- NETSUITE = HUGE PLUS
- Solid foundation of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to communicate effectively both within the Finance department and cross-functionally
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
