Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status through physical examinations and medical history evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Supervise nursing staff and assist in shift management to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting all patient interactions and treatments provided.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including Medicare guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in nursing home/ LTC settings is REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and nursing administration practices.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and documentation requirements is a plus.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical records accurately.
