The Greer Group is seeking a HR Specialist/Recruiter for a HVAC client in the Raleigh area. This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a strong possibility to go on early.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
o Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create comprehensive job descriptions.
o Utilize various recruitment channels to source and attract qualified candidates.
o Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and coordinate further assessment stages.
o Manage the offer process and collaborate with departments to ensure a smooth onboarding transition.
New Hire Onboarding:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding program to welcome and integrate new employees.
o Prepare onboarding materials, including documentation, policies, and welcome kits.
o Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company culture, values, and expectations.
o Coordinate with different departments to ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources.
Administration Tasks:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
o Prepare and process documentation related to employee status changes, benefits, and payroll.
o Generate reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, training completion, and recruitment analytics.
o Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
o Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar recruiting role.
· In-depth knowledge of recruiting strategies, onboarding processes, and training program development.
· Strong organizational and administrative skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proficient in HRIS and other relevant software.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
· Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
· Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
