Maintenance Manager

Our Manufacturing client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager for their facility near Washington, PA. As Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the mechanical and facilities maintenance functions, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the chance to develop skills that will position you for greater responsibility in dynamic and strategic roles as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all production areas, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate internal labor and external contractors to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Improve equipment reliability and productivity by implementing strategies that enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Create maintenance schedules for direct reports, review performance, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to promote continuous improvement.
• Establish and manage an inventory of replacement parts for equipment and machines to ensure that necessary parts are readily available.
• Maintain strict adherence to budget constraints while applying cost containment principles when purchasing goods and services.
• Lead and support capital expansion projects, overseeing project management activities to meet deadlines, safety standards, and operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and regulations, while achieving maintenance performance targets.
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, and cross-functional problem-solving teams.
• Proactively promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring a zero-incident culture through diligent accident prevention, investigations, and equipment maintenance.
• Facilitate root cause analysis of equipment-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
