The Grounds Guys is looking for an organized, positive and professional Field Manager to join our growing team. In this role, youll provide daily leadership and management to a team of installation technicians, installing residential and commercial misting systems as well as landscape lighting systems!

Spend your working hours in the field making our community bug free and beautifully illuminated, instead of being stuck behind a desk or in a cubicle

You will have ability to learn, develop and use your managerial skills while at the same time performing services where needed in the field
As the Field Manager, you will be a trained expert who oversees the installations of misting systems and landscape lighting systems to both commercial and residential customers
This position will be based mainly out of West Palm Beach however some travel will be required from time to time within our market. Including, but not limited to; Tampa, Ft. Myers and Lakeland Florida
Daily communication with the team and the Director of Field Operations
Participate in sales initiatives, inventory control, maintenance on equipment and provide a remarkable client experience
Lead weekly meetings with the team
Follow a route schedule, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer's location
Communicate with customers to discuss additional services that meet their needs
Help find and train new technicians, control inventory, manage the crews in the field, while keeping things orderly and in accordance with local laws and regulations
Perform weekly technician audits and ongoing training / coaching with your team members
Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations
Represent the company and maintain a high level of customer service

Previous experience leading a team of 5-10 employees
Employee development and / or coaching for performance
High level focus on customer experience
Project management and oversight
Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow installation plans
Inventory management
Valid drivers license with safe driving record
Drug and alcohol free workplace
Some basic math skills add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements - no previous pest control experience necessary
