Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Landscape Lighting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and maintaining low-voltage lighting systems, working outdoors, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage landscape lighting systems.
• Run and bury low-voltage wiring, ensuring proper connections and waterproofing.
• Set up transformers, timers, photocells, and smart lighting controls.
• Adjust and aim fixtures for optimal lighting effects.
• Diagnose and resolve wiring or connection issues.
• Maintain, clean, and replace bulbs and fixtures as needed.
• Read and interpret lighting designs and site plans.
• Communicate with clients and team members to ensure high-quality installations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and trenching equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in low-voltage electrical work, landscape lighting, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of wiring, transformers, LED lighting, and control systems.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable with physical labor, including digging and lifting heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in low-voltage systems or electrical work.
• Experience with smart lighting controls and automation systems.
• Background in landscaping, irrigation, or outdoor construction.
