Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Developer to join our dynamic team. The Business Developer will be responsible for generating new commercial landscaping accounts. This includes identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, presenting service proposals, and closing deals. The role requires strategic planning, proactive outreach, and strong follow-up skills to ensure a steady pipeline of commercial customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research commercial property owners, property managers, HOAs, and businesses that need landscaping services.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new commercial clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
  • Utilize CRM software tools for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales activities.
  • Conduct strategic planning sessions to identify growth areas and develop actionable plans.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent strategic planning abilities with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
