Mon-Fri, 9AM-5PM, $18 per hour, vacation time after one-year, paid holidays after 90 days, office uniform allowance, and many incentives. The apprentice program is for 3 years, starting at $18 per hour for year one, year two $19 per hour, year three $21 per hour. This is a home-based office on commercial property located in Oberlin.
As Office Manager Apprentice, you are a key team member supporting the work of management and other staff. 5 years of experience is required in the specific requirements listed below. You are responsible for clerical, phone sales, receptionist, bookkeeping, and project-based work to contribute to the day-to-day operations of two companies, Grounds Guys and Dirty Dog Carpet Cleaning. 5 years of experience is required in the specific requirements listed below and fluent in those areas. You are adept with technology, organized, detail oriented, can anticipate needs, and complete important tasks without being asked. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and can manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers and are able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

o Running hiring ads to ensure the company is always recruiting.
o Managing Paradox and setting up interviews.
o Insuring payroll hours are turned in to the payroll company in a timely manner or does payroll in-house
o Creating hire packs (W-4, I-9), etc.
o Assisting with new-hire orientation.
o Ordering uniforms as needed. Keeps a small amount of inventory for new hires and replacements.
