The Grove Cafe and Bakery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant Manager to join our team in providing exceptional service and delicious food to our customers. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe, supporting both kitchen and front-of-house activities.
The Grove offers a wide range of experiences from daily cafe operations in a very busy and faced paced environment, offsite catering and events, private dinners, and special neighborhood night dinners. Chef Jessica Yarr is committed to serving the highest quality food and beverages possible while working the local farms and producers in the community.
As the assistant manager, you would play a key role in the quality and success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support the kitchen staff with food handling, cooking, and catering tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Help manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe dining environment.

Qualifications
- Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service management is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
