Position Summary for Data Quality Specialist
The Data Quality Specialist will provide program management, training, and program maintenance of the Avatar Electronic Health Record (EHR) system as well as the SPQM data base systems.
Primary Duties for Data Quality Specialist
- Learn TGC’s core applications including Avatar and MS Office to be a resource for basic to advanced use of these applications.
- Serve as primary point of contact for implementation of new or updated modules in Avatar. Provide notification to staff, training, and ensure the project is implemented within required time frames.
- Serve as Super User and be the primary contact to Netsmart for all Avatar communications.
- Develops, selects, and conducts user training on an as-needed basis in the areas of EHR use, productivity software use, and other items as assigned.
- Provide training to new staff on core applications and provide ongoing training to existing staff.
Data Quality Specialist Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Services.
- Two years’ experience working with Crystal Reports, SQL, and data analytics
- Preferred: Two years’ experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Covid 19 vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption
