We are seeking a skilled Pyschologist, Developmental Disabilities to join our team at The Guidance Center. About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations of individuals receiving services, including administration and interpretation of psychometric instruments. They will also provide direct services to people served, develop treatment goals, case service plans, and crisis intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer and interpret psychometric instruments to inform treatment decisions
- Provide direct services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies as needed
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Valid TLLP or LLP in Psychology with the State of Michigan
- At least 8 months experience in the area of intellectual and developmental disabilities required
- At least 1 year experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families
- Candidate must obtain QIDP and CMHP credentials within 120 days of hire
